2024 is the Year of the Dragon
Chinese New Year is the most popular holiday in Chinese cultures. It occurs on the first day of the first lunar month each year.
Several other cultures celebrate holidays based on the lunar calendar. For example Diwali in India, however India uses a different lunar calendar than is used in east-Asia.
